About Us

Morton Fairview Electrical Services Limited, is a family run firm of electrical contractors, established in 1972. Our Head Office has been based in Mitcham, in the London Borough of Merton, since the first day of trading.

The company is now headed by Mr. Bruce Gilchrist, the founders son. As a company we specialise as Electrical Contractors and Electrical Engineers.

Quality Control
We have been members of the N.I.C.E.I.C. since 1978. the E.C.A. since 1997, Construction Line and CHAS since 2005.
We were also the first company within the N.I.C.E.I.C. to gain U.K.A.S. accreditation. This criteria alone guarantees the standard and quality of works that are produced.
We are also Part P registered as well as Local Authority Approved Contractors.
We have a current health and safety policy.
We can provide risk assessments and method statements subject to requirement.

General
We carry out all electrical installations, rewires, repairs, maintenance, fault finding and N.I.C.E.I.C. certified testing and inspections.
We work in domestic, industrial and commercial premises,
Our clients range from local authorities, housing associations, schools, colleges, light industry, builders, the private sector and private individuals.
We tender and quote for works and can provide reactive, maintenance and call out services.

Day-to-Day Operations
All works controlled and allocated from the Mitcham office.
Office hours commence from 7.30am until 5.30pm Monday - Friday.
Normal day-to-day operations commence from 7.30am – 16.30pm with reactive works being allocated to operatives, these works are normally pre-booked and received the day prior to allocation on a priority basis as advised by the client.
Out of hours works can be arranged on clients request.
We operate an emergency call out system during normal hours and on request can provide a 24 hour emergency call out service.
Progress of all works are monitored during the course of a normal working day and should works require a report or quotation, this can be e-mailed or posted the following day.
All electrical works will be NIC/EIC certified as required.

Our electrical engineers can provide free technical advice.
All electrical operatives have CRB Enhanced Disclosure and are fully qualified, van based, and contactable by mobile phone.
An out of hours mobile phone number can be provided on request.
